As I spent two weeks on the island, I saw many rental cars from other companies that were in pristine condition and brand new. I strongly advise not to trust this company. I just walked out the door at that point, happy to never see them again. Then, I was handed 30 EUR in notes, but the Greek-speaking grandmother was was counting out the cash for my refund made it clear they did not have any change to give me the four Euros and started counting out 10 and 20 cent pieces. I was so fed up at this point with Loukis that I accepted it. I returned the car one day early and assumed I would get back EUR 50, which was the rental rate per day but was told "we have already paid he tax, which is 24%, and then we have to take out the credit card commission, so you only get 34 EUR back".

I was told when I took the replacement car that if I returned the car early, they would refund any extra days paid. And it was fine, albeit smaller than the car I had originally booked.

Knowing it was peak season and finding another car would be difficult, I took the car. They refused this and said I had to pay the two weeks upfront or "you don't have to take the car". I then wanted to take the replacement car only for a week rather than the two weeks I had booked, as I wanted to make sure this car was in good working order.

I also told them the car had mechanical problems which they refused to believe and began arguing with me, implying that I was being difficult. They told me they had no other cars.They promised me another car the next day. It had dents, scratched and crushed panels on all sides. I had booked my car 3 months in advance, and when I arrived at the airport, Loukis presented me with the most damaged car I have ever seen in many years of renting.
